Matthew Paul Speer designs and builds custom furniture blending true craftsmanship with contemporary design to produce pieces that are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.

Matthew carefully selects his lumber and designs his furniture to showcase the natural beauty of the wood. Each piece is custom designed, built and finished to order in his Oak Park, Illinois workshop.

Matthew has a master’s in environmental engineering and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
